Since we have gotten involved with a coach and reading several real estate best sellers, our whole world is turned upside down. She made us step outside of ourselves and take a better look at where we are. Last year was such a whirlwind, we got caught up in the stream and never had time to sit on the bank and think.
We are beginning to realize that without a specific plan for the business and each day, we lost direction so we have been doing some soul searching trying to crystallize our goals and figure out where we want to be in five years.

In doing this, we have switched most of our advertising to the internet and left only a small portion in print. Everything we do promotes our website. We just added a link to some Other Cool Sites including where to find the cheapest gas in your city, find out who called you from that "unavailable" number, how to get downpayment assistance and more. We believe a website must be dynamic and are always finding new and interesting links or information for our visitors.
In other areas, we are completing revamping the listing presentation and training our licensed assistant in more aspects of the business.

So, even though the market has slowed, we figure this is the time to get our continuing education behind us, learn a lot of new software, reorganize our team and evaluate our marketing.
Active Rain had to take a back seat for a while, but we'll let you know what we learn and how it helps us. We are determined to stay ahead of the curve in technology and get back to the basics of customer care.
